Advancing the Sisterhood

My beloved Sorors, I have an exciting plan, a vision that embraces our entire Dynamic Southern Region.  This powerful vision brings together collegiate and alumnae sorors for the genuine mission of Advancing the Sisterhood.  As empowered sisters, we will continue our commitment to our noble legacy by fostering stronger collaboration that strengthens chapter management practices combined with the undeniable courage to move our Sisterhood forward. 

Commitment to our legacy

• Emphasizing our timeless virtues with a focus on ethics, morals and values through creative events, historical programming, and Sisterhood Retreats
• Strengthening our public service focus through innovative programming by creating more opportunities for chapters to exchange ideas
• Sustaining our legacy of sisterhood by including collegiates in all aspects of Regional activities; utilizing coaching and mentoring programs to expand upon their learning and groom sorors for leadership

Collaboration among our chapters

• Establishing a mentoring network and speakers bureau for chapter officers and collegiate advisors; as well as fostering networking opportunities
• Identifying strategies for leadership enhancement and succession planning through web based seminars and educational sessions
• Promoting spiritual, physical and emotional bonding among members

Courage to move

• Increasing our understanding and application of technology to work more effectively & efficiently
• Initiating strategies to retain & reclaim inactive sorors
• Developing tools that will increase chapter productivity and create resources for guidance

We, my Sorors, will create a circle of strength that will continue the legacy of the twenty-two and serve as an advocate for those whose voices are unheard while we maintain high standards within our organization.  Our core is a strong sisterhood, we must build from within; to strengthen and enhance that core that will be our mission....
